The Magnificent Seven Litter!!!

Yakutian Laika’s are an 8, 000 year old aboriginal breed. They originated in the harshest of climates in Yakutsk, Siberia. These primitive dogs were critical to the Yakutian people as sled dogs, reindeer herders and hunters, and even guard dogs. Their double coat or wool, is the softest most luxurious coat you will ever touch. Yakutian Laika’s have a unique and temperament that is hard to describe, to win their trust is a magical and enlightening experience. They bond completely with their handlers, and are known as cling wrap dogs! Tim and I are pioneering a program to pair these special dogs with autistic children. Puppies will be raised with the puppy culture program, and early neurological stimulation. Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER) testing will occur at 8 weeks, three rounds of Volhard testing temperament assessment will be administered at 6, 8, and 10 weeks.
